Please get yourself checked if you are experiencing any symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, abdominal cramps, etc. It took 3 weeks to show up in my friend and almost 2 months for me. You may not even be showing symptoms but could've passed it on to a child, spouse, roommate. Please be aware. I am a triathlete who did this race and yes, I did swallow some lake water, I JUST got diagnosed 10.21.09 with Giardia after weeks of nausea. My next door neighbor who did it also had it, she had the runs and nausea for 4 weeks. Get checked if you have any symptoms.
