Frodeno, Vodickova Win Laguna Phuket Triathlon

Germany’s Jan Frodeno and the Czech Republic’s Radka Vodickova won Sunday’s Laguna Phuket Triathlon.

Frodeno crushed the men’s field, winning with a time of 2:24:56. Second place finisher Matthieu O’Halloran of Canada came in 12 minutes later at 2:36:58. The final podium finisher was Balazs Csoke of Hungary at 2:38:18.

Vodickova beat out last year’s champ, Belinda Granger of Australia, with a time of 2:46:15. Granger’s second place time was 2:49:51. Australia’s Rachael Paxton finished third at 2:52:16.
