Berasategui Injured In Bike Accident

According to the website Eitb.com, Basque triathlete Virginia Berasategui was involved in a car accident in Mallorca on Monday, Feb. 15. Berasategui is an up and coming long-distance triathlete with a 2009 victory at the Wildflower triathlon and a third place finish at the 2009 Ironman World Championship on her resume.
Berasategui’s injuries are said to include cuts and contusions to her face and three knocked out teeth.
