Triathlon involves so much more than just swimming, biking and running. An aspiring triathlete has to find time to train, adjust their nutrition, choose an event, figure out what gear to buy, meet training partners… and that’s before swimming, biking or running a single mile. It can be an intimidating and daunting process.
Tri Bike Basics will be a regular column by Triathlete’s senior editor Aaron Hersh and is aimed to take some of the confusion out of joining the triathlon community by providing you with the knowledge and confidence to sort through the world of bike technology.
