Former New York City Firefighter, Boston Marathon qualifier and Ironman finisher Matt Long came on The Competitors Radio Show recently with Bob Babbitt and Paul Huddle to chat about his amazing recovery after being struck by a 20-ton bus while on his bike back in December of 2005. After more than 40 operations and being told he would be lucky to ever walk again without a cane, Long once again ran the New York City Marathon and finished Ironman Lake Placid.
