Pro Bike: Macca’s Specialized Shiv

Chris McCromack may not be racing Kona this year, but that doesn’t mean he is purely a short-course racer. He will be displaying his Ironman strength this weekend aboard this Specialized Shiv at the Ironman 70.3 San Juan triathlon.
His bike is largely unchanged since Ironman Hawaii. He is riding a Shiv with SRAM Red, Speedplay Zero pedals and Zipp 808 Firecrest tubular race wheels. He has a bottle cage mounted on the frame and another between the aerobars and is rolling Zipp Tangente tubular tires.
