Third place finisher at the 2010 Ironman 70.3 World Championship, Magali Tisseyre, cinched her fourth 70.3 win while dentist and pro triathlete, David Kahn, took the men’s title, despite having added the race to his schedule only a few weeks ago.

Men
All the action was right up front as 27-year old David Kahn and Paul Ambrose battled it out for the win. Kahn dominated this race with the fastest swim (24:12) and bike (2:16:23) splits, crossing the finish line in 4:00:52. But Kahn had to fight for his win. Paul Ambrose came out of the water two minutes down, biked almost an identical time, then ran about two minutes faster, making the race anyone’s game right until the very end, when Ambrose crossed the finish line just 35 seconds after Kahn. Viktor Zyemtsev rounded out the top three 20 minutes down in 4:21:24.

Women
This race belonged to Magali Tisseyre. The 29-year old Canadian came out of the water ahead of her competition, then continued to open the gap, hammering the bike (2:32:37) and the run (1:22:47) to cross the finish line over 11 minutes ahead of second-place finisher, Annie Gervais. (Tisseyre’s time: 4:267:08) Heather Leiggi completed the podium, running it in two minutes behind Gervais.
