Lightweight's Autobahn wheel is an eight-spoked version of their Fernweg rim, Lightweight's first designed specifically for aerodynamic performance. It has a broad rim and blunted spoke bed.

Specialized's new S-Works shoe has two omnidirectional Boa clasps, a new last that is tighter in the heel and broader in the forefoot and it uses different materials in the heel and forefoot to further lock the foot in place while allowing it to expand.
