Once again Dr. Jordan Metzl will lead Tri-Mania NYC, formerly Multisport World Conference and Expo, on March 16 in New York City, NY.
The one-day event will feature presentations from some of the sport’s experts, ranging in topics from injury prevention to how to pick a race and distance. Tri-Mania is free to the public, but does require registration ahead of time. The goal of the event is to help you prepare for the upcoming season.
“As an Ironman triathlete, I want to go faster every year,” Dr. Metzl told Triathlete.com. “As a sports medicine doctor, I want to help keep my patients active, healthy and injury free. The idea of the Tri-Mania NYC seminar is to teach endurance athletes ways to combine both of these things for themselves. Improving performance and staying healthy, that’s the secret to a great season.”
The keynote speaker for the event is six-time Ironman world champion Dave Scott. The day will also feature an interview with running legend Amby Burfoot.
Events kick off at 9 a.m. and conclude around 4:20 p.m. with the give away of a Computrainer.
Tri-Mania will also host seminars in Boston, Mass. (March 23) and Washington, D.C. (March 24).
