The Amgen Tour of California on Monday announced that it would host an elite women’s time trial in conjunction with its stage 6 TT in San Jose on May 17 and professional triathlete Julie Dibens is on the start list. Dibens battled injuries throughout 2011 before ultimately pulling out of the Ironman World Championship that year. She spent 2012 recovering from surgery to correct the foot injury that had plagued her since 2004, as well as a knee injury. She has yet to announce a date for her return to triathlon.
