In the ninth episode of Become One, former Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward travels to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii to train on what many claim is the toughest course in all of endurance sports. Ward attempts a swim, bike and run on the Ironman World Championship course to prepare for the brutal conditions that he will be facing on race day. He gets help from his coach, and eight-time Ironman world champion, Paula Newby-Fraser and Ironman triathlete Chris Lieto.
