Kick off the holiday season by winning products from Triathlete magazine’s Holiday Gift Guide! Check back each day this week for a new contest and new prizes.
Day 1 (Monday, Dec. 2)
To kick off our week of Triathlete magazine Holiday Gift Guide Giveaways, we have four great prizes:
A set of Shimano R550G pedals ($100, Shimano.com). These large-cleated, composite pedals give you ease of access when you’re still learning how to get in and out, yet still keep the weight down.
A 2004–2012 Ironman World Championship Kona DVD set ($100, Ironmanstore.com). Pop one of these into the DVD player during a hard trainer ride for some goose pimple-inducing motivation. For anyone who can’t get enough of the annual NBC broadcast (read: us), this DVD set offers equal parts entertainment and inspiration, and spans the past nine years of one of the greatest endurance events in all of sport.
The book Iron War ($25.95, Velopress.com). Written by Matt Fitzgerald, Iron War is a riveting epic about how Ironman legends Mark Allen and Dave Scott drove themselves and each other through the most awe-inspiring race in sports history, the 1989 Ironman Hawaii.
A Moving Comfort Hit the Road Carry-All ($125, Movingcomfort.com). A great balance of functional and stylish, this bag’s fabric will be able to handle the wear and tear of triathlon training—and inspire you to get out the door.
To win today’s giveaway, we want to hear your favorite motivational phrase in 25 words or less (one phrase per entry, one entry per person). Post it in the comments below, and we’ll pick our favorites. Entries must be posted by Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Noon PST. The winners will be announced on this page by 5 p.m. PST the same day. It is the responsibility of the entrants to check back and see if they have won. The first winner to contact us will get the first choice of the four prizes, the second to contact us will have second choice, etc. so it is important to check back and and see if you’ve won.
*Update* Congratulations to our four winners. Please email Bmavis@competitorgroup.com ASAP to claim your prize. Remember the four prizes will be handed out on a first come, first serve basis.
