Open to cyclists and triathletes of all ages and athletic backgrounds, the 12th annual winter training camp will feature five days of training in the heat among the saguaros along the majestic Catalina Mountain range in the high desert region of Tucson. The camp is intended to help triathletes and cyclists work on their endurance base to prepare for the 2014 season, and it’s designed for athletes who can comfortably ride at least 50 miles, run for an hour, and swim 2,000 yards.

The camp will be led by long-time triathlon coach Troy Jacobson as well as coaches from the Triathlon Academy and Spinervals Cycling. Activities include a nightly lecture on a training- or racing-related topic, a ride up Mount Lemmon, a ride and run at Gates Pass, and yoga. Campers will also receive training DVDs, a cycling jersey, group dinners, and a 30-day trial membership to Spinervals.com.
