Javier Gomez just might be the most versatile triathlete in the world today. Besides winning the Hy-Vee Triathlon last summer, he also has won the 2013 Escape from Alcatraz, the 2012 XTERRA World Off Road Triathlon Championship, and a Silver Medal at the 2012 Olympics in London. In that race he averaged 44K per hour on the bike before getting off and running a blistering 29:15 10K.

Eric McElvenny lost his leg below the knee to an IED in Afghanistan in December of 2011. Within 60 days of the explosion he was being fitted for a prosthetic leg and within one year he had completed three triathlons. He is now part of the Refuel Got Chocolate Milk Become One Program, training and racing with Steeler legend Hines Ward.

Navy SEAL Moki Martin created the infamous Superfrog Triathlon back in 1979, and the 35th running of that classic event is coming up on Sunday September 29th. Moki also has the SuperSeal Olympic and Sprint Distance events coming up on Sunday March 17th on the Silver Strand in Coronado. Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward, now training to participate in the Ironman in Hawaii this coming October, will be attempting his first ever triathlon at SuperSeal as part of Chocolate Milk’s Become One program.
