The 2011 Ironman 70.3 California Triathlon In Pictures

It was a dramatic day in Oceanside, Calif. as both the pro men’s and women’s races came down to the late miles of the run. In the end, Andy Potts and Mirinda Carfrae earned their third titles in So Cal thanks to speedy performances down the finish line chute.

2010 Kona Photos: Scenes From The Energy Lab

Despite its name, the Natural Energy Lab segment of the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii does little to provide strength to athletes. The stretch, which comes towards the end of the marathon, is often where the biggest passes are made and where many athletes, including professionals, resort to the dreaded Ironman shuffle.

Here are photos of the professionals making their way through this treacherous stretch of the run.

Rev3 Cedar Point Photo Gallery

TeamTBB teammates James Cunnama and Amy Marsh earned victories at the inaugural Rev3 Cedar Point triathlon in Sandusky, Ohio. Athletes participating in the full-Rev event took on a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike and a 26.2-mile run. Here’s a photo gallery of the event, provided by Dan Hicok.

Australia’s Joe Gambles and New Zealand’s Gina Crawford both set new course records to win the 2010 Ironman Wisconsin triathlon. The Ironman win was the first for Gambles and the fifth for Crawford. Photographer Larry Rosa spent the day chasing after the fast athletes to capture these action shots.
